Overview
Most respondents have now ended their season. It is great to see respondents in Algonquin and the Ottawa Valley achieve average or near-average yields despite their late start. Unfortunately, respondents in Algoma appear to be finishing with lower-than-average yields.
Since most respondents have finished making syrup, this will likely be my last sap flow report of the season. Thank you to all who participated in the surveys and helped make these reports as informative as possible. Have a great off-season!

One respondent still has snow on the ground and is hoping for some good flows this week.

Amber, dark, and very dark syrup were made, mostly with good flavour. One producer noted off flavours on Monday. Some producers had a lot of niter or difficulty filtering, which is typical for the end of the season. Respondents made between 0.67 – 1.8 L/tap, representing 95 – 120% of their average crop.
